Please help NWEF by paying your $40 yearly dues !!!

We will need these funds to help support our new Taylor Park field this spring and get our big fly-ins started.  I have come up with 3 easy ways to show your support for NWEF.

1:  Pay in cash at the field and get a membership card on the spot.

2:  Pay on the homepage through a PayPal donation of $40,  I will make out a membership card in your name and hold it till we meet up.

3:  Pay with a check and a self address return envelope w/ stamp and I will send you back a membership card.  Make check payable to Lon Stumpf and send to.

No one from NWEF makes a cent from this and every penny is spent on the club only.  In fact every year it costs me money out of my own pocket to keep things running and that should no longer happen with 400 members and one of the largest clubs in the state.   While no one makes any profit we are not yet a 501 C3 nonprofit organization yet because of the large amount of funds it takes to make that happen. (About $5000)

I would hope that after next year we will have enough funds to make the nonprofit part happen so we can open a bank account and not be taxed.   It's my understanding that if I put these funds into a bank we will be treated as a business and taxed by the IRS and State about 38% of all funds.  So for now that's why everything is going into my name alone and I will be solely responsible for any problems that could come up.

Comon guys, we're starting to see more and more areas with posted "No R/C" signs. Lets take a step towards supporting our cause! While I may not fly regularly anymore, I am glad there is a way I can help ensure there's a voice in our area to keep flying areas open for RC use.

I want to reiterate that every last red cent of this money goes to nothing but the club's events and interests. We've had to make a stand at city hall before, and we'll have to do it again at some point. Donations will help ensure a strong base of support if we decide to seek legal advice or if we have to present an example thru a well-maintained NWEF Taylor Park with a positive community relationship and good safety record.
