You can remove a section and scarf in a new patch of monocote. Mark's is a good suggestion as well. If it's a pretty small area a little paint can go a long way. I'm big into scale too and like to keep a small collection of colored sharpies, paints, and white monocote around. Sometimes a minor repair is an excuse to add weathering!
Matthew Shaffer@nwef.org(Matthew Shaffer) Mon, 14 May 2012 08:10:06 -0600 http://www.nwef.org/index.php?option=com_ccboard&view=postlist&forum=3&topic=1096&post=5356 Re:Need Help With Monokote/Ultracote http://www.nwef.org/index.php?option=com_ccboard&view=postlist&forum=3&topic=1096&post=5355
You really can't unshrink it, so I would probably get a piece of Monokote Trim in the proper color and just cut a silver of it to cover the wood. That's one nice thing about Monokote... the colors match. Which brings to mind that you also could get come matching paint and just paint the wood.

If you need to get the wrinkle out, the only possibility is to cut out the piece and reapply. I have a RV9 that needed that.
Mark@nwef.org(Mark) Sun, 13 May 2012 08:49:29 -0600 http://www.nwef.org/index.php?option=com_ccboard&view=postlist&forum=3&topic=1096&post=5355 PlaneAdrenalinRC Reno Air Racer Speed Trainer - RTF $210 - with Rx and 4 lipos http://www.nwef.org/index.php?option=com_ccboard&view=postlist&forum=5&topic=1070&post=5291
PlaneAdrenalinRC P-51 Reno Air Racer Speed Trainer Demo Plane (39" wingspan) - Ready to Fly with Spektrum Rx and 2 3s 2200mah and 2 4s 2200 lipo batteries - $210.

This modified World Models Voodoo EP is designed to run on both 3s and 4s lipos, providing you the opportunity to start with lower top speeds of 70-80mph, and then move to 4s power for top speeds around 100mph.

This was the demo plane for PlaneAdrenalinRC, and only has about 12 flights on it and is in prestine condition.

Here is the official RCGroups review on this plane.

This is a super stable platform with great flying characteristics, much like a Parkzone P51 in ease of flying. But I knew there was more than just me that did it, so I asked if I could include more AP/FPV setups. They were excited and quite interested to hear from more pilots!

The story is focusing on how drones, or for us, FPV, has become something any citizen can enjoy, legally, so FPV setups, either multi-rotor or fixed-wing will be fine. The story would probably be shot at 60 acres, so it would also advertise our club too.

The story will most likely be filmed on an upcoming weekend. One multi-rotor, one fixed wing, and maybe one heli would be enough. Kosh, maybe bring by your Magpie AP too. If you are interested in being a part of the story, there are only a few spots available. They asked for maybe 3-5 pilots, including me. Send me a PM if interested, and we'll set up a date for the story.

Thanks,

Zach Sweetser

RedDevilSquadron@nwef.org(RedDevilSquadron) Sun, 29 Apr 2012 20:45:33 -0600 http://www.nwef.org/index.php?option=com_ccboard&view=postlist&forum=10&topic=1087&post=5334 SOLD - It sure sounds, and looks, great. I think you'll find it to be a pretty scale ship. I'm curious as to what trim and expo settings you ended up with, and maybe a few more details on the maiden? It was a great weekend for it. Anyway, enjoy it as much as I did!

Best Regards,

Matt

[Marcelo 2012-04-23 11:25:12]:

Hey Matt,

Finally maiden the F9 and flew beautifully...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMgkk7Mwz2U

Matthew Shaffer@nwef.org(Matthew Shaffer) Wed, 25 Apr 2012 08:34:43 -0600 http://www.nwef.org/index.php?option=com_ccboard&view=postlist&forum=5&topic=1068&post=5324 Re:F9F Panther, by Starmax, For Sale $100 http://www.nwef.org/index.php?option=com_ccboard&view=postlist&forum=5&topic=1068&post=5323
Flew great im Im glad this plane could find a new home.

Kosh@nwef.org(Kosh) Mon, 23 Apr 2012 18:14:08 -0600 http://www.nwef.org/index.php?option=com_ccboard&view=postlist&forum=5&topic=1068&post=5323 Re:F9F Panther, by Starmax, For Sale $100 http://www.nwef.org/index.php?option=com_ccboard&view=postlist&forum=5&topic=1068&post=5322
Hey Matt,

Finally maiden the F9 and flew beautifully...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMgkk7Mwz2U

Marcelo@nwef.org(Marcelo) Mon, 23 Apr 2012 12:25:12 -0600 http://www.nwef.org/index.php?option=com_ccboard&view=postlist&forum=5&topic=1068&post=5322
